About Us

Here at Christian Paul Vineyards, we are continuing a long legacy of winemaking of the Ercolani family which dates back many generations in Tuscany and Umbria, Italy. Christian's great grandfathers, Julio and Frederico, arrived in the US in the early 1900s with a dream of a better life and aspirations to continue making high quality wines. They did so, with great success, and passed on their passion for wine and family.

This passion continues at Christian Paul Vineyards in North Carolina, where we strive to provide a unique and highly interactive wine-tasting experience. Our wines are made from high-quality vinifera and hybrid grapes grown in the Yadkin Valley of North Carolina and made in the style of various award-winning international wine producing hotspots such as France, Italy, Germany, Argentina, and Australia.

Our vineyard is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains within the Yadkin Valley AVA of North Carolina. Lying at 1,200 ft. above sea level, the property hosts 25-acres of rolling hills, 5.5 of which are under vine. Our current plantings include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Traminette, Malbec, Albariño, Chambourcin, and Montepulciano.

Experience Christian Paul by visiting our tasting room and hopping on a first-class flight "Around the World".
